Inside the Kitchen || Rachel Winard, Soapwalla’s founder, believes that our products are only as good as the ingredients we use. Her philosophy: “the skin is our largest organ and for it to function at its best, we must feed it wholesome ingredients. If I refuse to put something in my body, I don’t want to put it on my body either.” Rachel is wildly passionate about what Soapwalla does every day: creating products that protect skin health and support the emotional well-being of our customers - and planet.

Ethically Conscious Skincare || At Soapwalla, we believe that to create the best skincare products possible, the entire process must be ethical, environmentally friendly, and healthy. Our commitment to these principles translates through each step it takes to get our products from concept to market.  We use only the highest quality foodgrade and organic ingredients, and don't  use questionable additives such as sodium lauryl sulfate, parabens, pthalates, petrochemical byproducts, or synthetic ingredients. Our products are vegan and cruelty-free. We never ever test on animals.  Soapwalla purchases raw ingredients from producers who pledge the same.  Soapwalla is certified by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ Leaping Bunny Program and PETA’s Caring Consumer Program. Soapwalla is a Champion Company by the Environmental Working Group.

Evolving Standards of Beauty || The move away from anti-aging is one that Rachel is passionate about. Aging is a natural process and we want to look our best and take care of our skin, but there's a beauty and wisdom that come with age that so many of us admire. Thanks to timeless beauties like Helen Mirren and Frances McDormand, and to natural beauty lines such as Soapwalla and others, we shift the focus from fear of aging. Instead, we focus on health, vibrance, and comfort in one's skin. Confidence and vitality are sexy. And both come with age and experience.

Tailor-made Skincare || Rachel’s passion lies in working with clients on a personalized level to create skin-care regimens that are crafted for the individual’s needs. This attention to detail is how our Tailor-made Skincare experience was born. The exclusive opportunity provides the client a chance to consult one-on-one with Rachel to customize and streamline their skincare routine. Our process begins with a detailed questionnaire, followed by a lengthy phone, Skype or in-person meeting with Rachel.  The interview covers a variety of lifestyle elements, all of which impact skin health.  This gives Rachel an understanding of existing skin conditions and goals, and allows her to create unique products that are individually crafted to reflect the client’s needs. Clients receive a cleanser, moisturizers, toning mists and exfoliant made of the finest vegan and food-grade ingredients.  Read more about our Tailor-made Skincare service from Well + Good.
